  • ANG NARS aims to bring back the respect for the dignity of the nursing profession.
  • ANG NARS advocates for “Tamang Trabaho, Tamang Sweldo, Tamang Solusyon”.
  • ANG NARS advocates to STOP “Nurse Exploitation”, the umbrella term for the many issues of the Nursing Profession such as False Volunteerism & Trainings, Job Orders, Contractuals, and other forms of precarious work that violate our sense of self-worth, our DIGNITY.

 

  • Stop “False Volunteerism “ and “False Trainings”(work without pay) in all health institution
  • Employ nurses as regular workers
  • Implement appropriate/right salary according to Nursing Law of 2002
  • Advocate just treatment for senior and young nurses
  • Implement DOH mandate 1:12 nurse patient ratio
  • Encourage Registered Nurses to use their titles “Nurse”, “NARS” Generate their own employment by opening their own ANG NARS clinics and be their own “employer”.
  • Practice self-enhancement to give quality care
  • Deploy nurses to the barangays, schools, government and private offices
  • ANG NARS emphasizes the Nurses’ image as professional workers with rights instead of the usual belief that “Nurses are health workers who cannot assert their rights” or the submissive “Nurse lang ako”, “Mabuti na kay sa wala”, and “kapit sa patalim” concepts.

 

  • ANG NARS supports PNA, BON, fellow Nursing Health and Environment Organizations.

 

  • ANG NARS works alongside all stakeholders to improve the status of the nursing profession with a friendly, cooperative manner in order not to alienate potential allies, and seal our status as ANG NARS Advocates.

 

ANG NARS aims to develop proactive and engaged ANG NARS ADVOCATES, not just reactive ones, till they develop to have initiative and commitment for the nursing profession and other health owrkers and for the health of the Filipino people.
